Different standards of grade are used for different environments. 310 SS Hex Head Studs are utilized to adjust into two threaded components side by side as studs already have threads on each of its ends. SS 310 Stud Bolts are generally made through fast quenching and can be generated by high cooling rates. The formability and hardenability is achieved through chemical balance of silicon, manganese, phosphorus, carbon, chromium, molybdenum, and boron. These Grade 310 Eye Bolts are effective across high temperatures up to 1150 degree celsius and stress environments, which provides better durability, strength and hardness even in reducing environments. SS 310 Fasteners tend to resist corrosion against pitting and crevice corrosions. SS 310 fasteners are often applied in mildly carburizing environments, such as petrochemicals, and heat treating applications. The carbon composition is about 0.25%, although a low carbon version is also available in the form of 310S that has carbon composition up to 0.08%. Square 310 Stud bolts can be easily fabricated and can be easily hardened by cold workings. SS 310 Stud Bolts have low magnetic permeability and can be used in cryogenic temperature to high temperature environments. The applications that employees grade 310 fasteners are furnace equipment, fans and piping, steel plants, etc. Apart from these SS 310 Metal Bolts are also used in power generation, gas industries, coal combustors, and more. SS 310 Studs and bolts are available in all different sizes and shapes customers can get according to themselves.
